The UK government is offering solar panel grants to encourage homeowners and businesses to install solar panels and reduce dependency on fossil fuels.
To qualify for a grant, you must:
- Live in the UK
- Be the homeowner
- Have a household income of £31,000 or lower
OR
- Be in receipt of at least one of the following qualifying state benefits:
- Universal Credit
- Income Support
- Working Tax Credit
- Pension Guarantee Credit or Savings
- Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
- Housing Benefit
- Child Benefit (If your household income meets the rules (up to £42,000 dependant on the number of children)
- Vulnerable Person Eligibility
- Health-Related Eligibility (Requires Doctors note)
